The Next Chapter started as a place to be honest about that process — about healing, about the parts of a story we don’t always say out loud, about what it actually takes to start over. Not polished. Not prescriptive. Just true.

Along the way, I’ve learned that the hardest part of asking for help is often just knowing where to start. That’s what led me to build Safe Harbor — a resource I wish had existed for me, or for anyone else standing at the beginning of a hard chapter and not sure which way to turn. Legal help, food assistance, shelter resources, organized simply, by state, so no one has to search alone at 2am wondering if there’s a way out.
